Why are Diet and Nutritional Counseling Important in Rehabilitation?

Dietary Nutritional Therapy

Our hospital has a registered dietician on staff to not only plan the meals in our cafeteria but to assist our patients and help educate them on ways to improve their diet. Many conditions we treat require patients learn and adapt to a healthy diet. However, we believe healthier doesn’t mean boring! We look for ways for patients to enjoy the foods they love, but make them with healthier ingredients and in the right portions. Having a healthy, balanced diet is essential in the rehabilitation and recovery process. If patients want to know more ask your case manager for nutritional counseling for you and your family.

Becoming a Patient

Our hospital provides care for those who are ready to be discharged from a hospital but not ready to return home. Treatment and care is designed to bridge the gap between hospital and home. Anyone who is limited functionally from an injury or illness can benefit from rehabilitation.
